Hong Kong Disneyland!!

Hi! We've been away at Hong Kong Disneyland. Spent two short days there, just before Mark's business conference in Central Hong Kong itself. Not a bad break at all, even if unlucky me was down with a bad fever on my way there and still nursing a cold and cough at Disneyland itself. Still, I was determined to go and I'm glad we did. Alison had a rollicking good time!No where is there such attention given to kids- she even has her own tiny bathrobe in the Disneyland hotel!

She was positively estactic in Disneyland, humming her nursery rhymes to herself from morning to night. She insisted on taking a picture with the Chipmunks, even though we had to queue about 20mins for it.

We also took a ride in the Winnie the Pooh Hunnie Pot. Err, as you can see from the pictures, she is a little scared. Hahah, I guess we'll take that one again when she's older. Anyway, my anguished face behind( if you can tell as it seems to be concealed behind a smile) is me trying to control a very bad tummyache - yup, I dashed out to the loo once the ride was over. I seriously thought I was going to poo in the hunnie pot. The last time I did that was in Primary One in Parkway Funland... No I did not want to do that again!

Anyway, thank God we brought the stroller - a spanking new Quinny One. She loved it and it saved us from breaking our backs carrying her. She's in this " I don't want to walk, carry carry" phase now.

Thank God too for the abundance of Chinese Food available in Hong Kong. Alison is a very Chinese Girl who must have her noodles and soup. So, there was no problem filling her tummy here.

We even managed to squeeze in her afternoon nap - scooting back to the hotel room at about 130pm for her 2 hour nap (which I needed to) and dashing back to Disneyland at 430. Err, we have no pictures of the parade ( ahah) because Ally never woke up in time. Well, at least we had a happy rested child who behaved herself all the way.

Night time was spent watching the fireworks from our hotel room window which faced the disneyland park. It was a great time.

Yah, Angie didn'y go. Left her at home with Ah Ma. You see, the second half of the trip - Mark was on business so it was up to me to tale care of the kids alone. I can only handle ONE in a foreign land. Heheeh.
