Who needs a hairdresser?

I've been putting off a haircut for Ally for ages. So afraid that we'll do something wrong and she will look very "uncool" loh, or even worse, "tut!

We've been hoping to bring her to my hairdresser, Henri, and sneak in a free haircut for her after mine. (Yes, very cheap skate! )

But a few days back, those strong tufts of hair, which have actually started to sit now, were really getting into her eyes. For a while, we tried hairclips, specially bought by her dear Ah Ma. But they got a bit troublesome.

So yesterday, Daddy Mark and I decided to roll up our sleeves and style her hair. It can't be that difficult what! And you know what? It wasn't.

We cut it just like the hairdresser does it. Randomly and in upward motions. That's how you layer hair and thin it right?RIGHT!

See? Her hair, cut by us, really isn't all too bad, is it?

Anybody else want us to cut their kid's hair? We charge $15 a haircut only. Infact, after we cut her hair, I got to wondering, why are I paying my hairdresser $80 a month anyway?
