Ally dancing at the pool
As the months go by and Ally grows older, Mark and I can't stop marvelling! We've been marvelling since the day she was born! Staring at her angelic face as she slept... and now 18 months later, we are still doing that and will continue for a long long time more!
Honestly, to us , she is the cutest, most lovable being on this planet. Such is the love of parents! Hahah, they say parents always think their own child is the BEST. We know she is.. HHhahahhaha. Ok, just kidding. I also find all my peers' kids really cute too. Just that when the child comes from "you," it's really that much more special isn't it>
So, before she turns into a "teenage brat who talks back," (let's hope never, as I am hoping she will be a nun!), Let me just muse over all her lovely mannerisms.
*Her sweet manja voice whenever she calls Mommy or Daddy.
*How she never fails to give me a morning hug and kiss when she wakes up.
*Her cheeky smile as she blabbers away in her own unique language.
*How she obediently says,"night night" at 8pm every night , gives us a kiss and hug and allows herself to be put to bed ( THANK YOU DR WEISSBLUTH)
*Her robotic dance moves to the tune of "Limbo Rocks!"
*How she can't pronounce her Rs and Ls, and everything is "Ruve" (Love), " Yee Yee" ( Really!)
* Her chubby toned little body that mark and I always like to nibble on.
etc etc etc!!
Every night, just after she goes to bed, we will turn to each other and sigh with gratefulness at this angel that we have. Hahah, mushy right but I'll bet all you parents feel like that too. Once you have a kid, you'll never wish to have it any other way. It's addictive.
Mark and I just can't believe our luck... that in a couple of months time, we'll have another one just like Ally. Awwwww...
