"Ah Boo Chuck!": Got to look good for passport!

You know, Alison was inside my tummy for so long, I've always thought of her as part of me. She's still stuck to me almost all the time for breast milk.

And lately, I just find her sooooo cute I tell her I want to put her back in my tummy, so I can be as close to her as possible! Also, so that I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed her! (yes, at 7 months now, she still wakes up up to twice a night to feed!

Anyway, it was only while planning for a short holiday in two weeks time that it dawned on me that she is this individual person. And she... yes... little Ah Boo Chuck actually needs a passport! (They don't incorporate it into the mother's passport anymore.)

And so, whaddya know? We've got to get a passport photo for her. We tried to pass off this one:

She looks so cute here what!

But officials came back and said " No TOYS in background, must be PLAIN WHITE" (and must wear clothes..ha)

Cheh, come on, she's just a baby!

Anyhow, instead of going through the trauma of putting her in one of those mobile photo booths, we took the photo ourselves against a white wall at Ah Ma and Ah Kong's house. ( For those of you who have been to my new place at Sanctuary Green, you will know we are hard pressed to find a white wall in our house!)
