Anyway, on to more cheery stuff! Nobody's sick. The kids are back to the chirpy selves. Alison is eating tons, a very clear sign that she's back to normal!
What's been happening since?
1) Ally is learning ballet.
She's gone for 3 lessons so far, together with her cousin Rachel. They really love it and have been tottering around on their tippie toes. Goodness knows how long they will keep at this. A friend told me ballet dancers are the worst paid, after the religious... Ha. So this is going to remain a hobby... unless she turns out to be a prodigy... no signs of that happening so far..
We're planning swimming next! Nice to keep the kids occupied and learning stuff - I ain't no creative mum and home projects never take off.. so best this way!
2) Mark and I have started attending a family educating program (http://familyes.org.sg/)It's a year long course, with reading materials, group discussions with families with similar age kids, and homework ( mainly aimed at getting us to think up action plans to inculcate good values in our kids) We are being guided by a couple who have 6 kids! (Imagine that!). So far, it's been very enlightening - hearing advice from a very dedicated couple - Marjorie and Cyprian, and entertaining - hearing stories from the other couples and being able to identify with their many bloopers when dealing with their kids. I sincerely hope we'll be able to be the best parents that we can be with Ally and Angie.
Ok, that's all I can manage for now... I'm off to sleep... will ease back into the blogging thing slowly...this is supposed to keep track of my kids' milestones but that's been left on the back burner somehow.
