More words from the mouth of Angie at 12 and a 1/2 months:
Cheh (for cheh cheh Ally)
wa tat (what's that?)
dare (there)
ma ma ma (for milk and mummy)
She can also
walk about 10 steps before crawling
wave bye bye and hi ( two different types of waves- "bye bye" flabs up and down, "hi" goes from side to side)
make a pretty face (hands cupping face like a flower)
flying kiss
sayang others (gentle stroking)
show her four teeth when asked
As for Ally:
She is almost fully potty trained! We're only left with the nightime diapers now. After a long hiatus from her first pee and poo in the potty, she has finally come round to it. We bought her a seat to put on the big toilet bowl so she can sit there and flush her shit away before she sees it (the kid potty doesn't flush) That helped her to poo in the potty. And the pre-school teachers helped too - so things moved along faster. This girl needs lots of praise. As her principal says, you praise her she will do anything.
She has rather good art skills. With her recent progress report, her teacher of Annie Apple Class said that she was one of the few who could actually draw a semblance of man with arms, legs, eyes, nose, mouth and hair. Inate talent or a good kickstart from the grandma (my mum inlaw who is an artist). Ha, we shall see.
She is also a teacher's pet (my primary school friends will definitely say "learn from the mother"). Her teachers say she is such a joy to have in the class. When they ask the class to do something, she will always do it the fastest and say to the teacher, " Look Ms Eve, I do XX already!" The teacher thought it was so good but in my heart, I was thinking, " oh dear, so irritating..." Ha, she will learn the hard way to tone down her "goodliness" (just like I did, :))
