Anyway, we decided to take things small this time, and invited just direct family members, the godparents of Ally and Angeline, my grandma and sis, my best friend and boyfriend and the three maids Only five kids were around: Angie, Ally, Rachel, Alex and Reubens. Nice and cosy, not too bewildering for Angie who really enjoyed herself! No one was really playing with her - Ally, Alex and Rachel are much older.. but she was perfectly happy hanging around them.
And learning from our mistakes, we catered this time.. don't ask us why we chose to run around buying food each time we held a party previous times. Anyway, Purple Sage gave us a nice spread (err. no pictures though, forgot to take) And we finally got to use our terrace for a good purpose other than hanging clothes out to dry.
We've also learnt to buy cheaper nice to eat cakes rather than expensive good looking cakes that are not so nice to eat. We've tried Polar for Ally so this time, the Piglet Mango Mousse Cake was from Sweets Secrets. Not bad and yummy too.
Angie amazed all by clapping her hands and smiling when the birthday song was sang to her.. she wasn't at all afraid of all the eyes on her.
Here's the three amigos (Rachel, Alex and Ally) eyeing the cake.
and tucking in. Look at these two - for some reason, Alex and Rachel click better - both gung ho and super active. Ally is more cautious.
Small and Simple is good. We'll be having more of those.
Oh... side note though. We're not going to tell any of the kids about upcoming parties till the moment itself. Ally totally refused to nap, being so excited, she was a total crank during the party. Rachel apparently skipped her nap too, but she's better at going without sleep.
