The teacher must think we don't care

Because on the eve of National Day, Ally was the only one in her pre-school NOT dressed in red and white.

Her mummy and daddy did not read the note placed inside her school bag that informed us of this.

Actually, her mummy and daddy did not read ALL the notes placed in the bag since she started pre-school 3 months ago. Arrrggh.

We just keep forgetting! Both Mark and I were always the lazy type and never bothered to pack or repack our own school bags! And when your kid is so young she never really talks about what happens in school (or at least you don't know which part is true because she usually just repeats what you say), it's hard to have been prepared right?

So, for the past three months, we have forgotten to let her bring a soft toy for "zoo" day, an umbrella for her "rainy day" activity, an A3 file for all her artwork and goodness knows what else.

The good thing is Ally probably isn't affected. She's happy everyday and never complains that she was the odd one out today. Everthing's ok as long as she has a cool water bottle it seems.
