Angeline

Yup, that's going to be Ah Doo Doo's name, unless there emerges some strong sign that it should not be! Ha. Mark and I chose it after Sister Angela , a dear friend of my mother, suggested we call the baby after her. So, we thought about it, and realised it's a lovely name, mainly because of two beautiful people associated with it. Sister Angela for one, and my dearest Auntie Angela who took care of my mum so lovingly and selflessly in her last days.

So, we are choosing the variant Angeline. And we like the short form Angie. Angie and Ally. Neat. Our little angel, that's what it means.

Anyway, a little update on the little girl growing inside me. She's a real active one, leaping and kicking at the gynae's office today. At 28 weeks, she weights 1.2 kg, still on the big side. I'm very pleased though that the weight is all going to her. I put on 500g since my visit a month ago, and she did too! So, yay, the weight is all the baby and none me! Must be all the standing in the shop, carrying manja Alison who likes to play horsey on my tummy and how I have been eating less durian (in fact none at all) this time round because of my durian phobic maid. hahah

Another revelation today- the ultrasound showed short spikey hair growing on Angie's head ( can't get a nice photo though). But looks like we have to be prepared for Ah Boo Chuck 2 - the Ah DOO Chuck this time.

Other than that, everything is fine with her... she is proving to be very adept at sucking all the nutrients from me. As for me, I'm now pondering between going for another Caesarean or tryin for a VBAC ( vaginal birth after caesarean) Doc says wait till later then see. Because baby cannot be too big, must be engaged, must come out on time etc etc. She'll even do a pelvic x ray to determine if the baby can come out easily. So, I'll take it easy for now and leave it in God's hands la.

Must really try to relax more so baby will come out a peaceful, easy baby. Heh. Mark keeps on telling me to relax.. he says that he can't imagine how I live as myself with my constant worries. Ha. Alison is already showing signs of taking on my traits with her timid and "scared or everything" nature. So, my mission is to now relax..... breathe..... probably end up worrying about not being able to relax enough.... hahhaha

Hi. Thanks for your advice. I know a doula would be good, just too busy lately to even see one. Hah. And sometimes the convenience of a Caesearean still beckons especially when I am trying to juggle my business duties and everything else. Thanks for the encouragement though! Will get down to seeing a doula.
