Ally the photo addict

Ally's always liked looking at photographs but lately, she has developed an almost unhealthy addiction to photographs. And it must be of familiar faces like herself, Rachel, Ah Ma, Ah Gong, Gong Gong, Mummy, Daddy, even her neighbour Alex, and the maids Delia, Sissa and Susan.

The daily ritual: Once she knows I have awoken, usually at about 10am.. (haha) , she will seek me out, ask for my hand ( she can say "hand , hand" ) and pull my to the computer. Laughing gleefully if she succeeds. Then, she will point to the big swivel chair and say "sit, sit" . Which means she wants to sit on the chair. Then she will gently tap the space bar to wake the computer and ask for "son son", "ture ture". She wants to be shown "ture" (pictures) of "son (Ali-SON).





It's been like that for the past week. She won't even let me eat breakfast. And once you get her started, don't even think of pulling her away from the screen. A scream and tantrum will erupt. She also insists that she be shown the photos on the computer. Outside on the TV and photo albums can't satisfy her.

Hopefully, she outgrows this. It's really time consuming to look at photos for extended periods of time the whole day man.
