To tell or not to tell

They always say better not let anyone know till all is safe.. Mark told me that too. But I am of the belief that I should let others know.. If anything happens (touch wood!), at least I can have their support, rather than hiding in this deep dark secret and grieving by myself. And also, hey, you've got to be positive about the whole pregnancy from the start!

So, here's the secret.



Yup! I'm pregnant again! Yippeee. 5 and a half weeks only so all we can see on the ultrasound is a little sac.

This one was planned, though Mark and I never expected to conceive so fast. As my gynaecologist put it, we are truely blessed! And that Mark and I have really compatible sperm and egg. :) You see, it was only a few weeks ago that i told her we were going to start trying and voila, we have succeeded.

Mark's reaction this time: No lah, can't be. Don't waste the pregnancy test kit.Only after the doctor confirmed it did it truely sink in I think. Now, he's calling the new baby Ryan, which is what we called Alison before she turned out to be a girl.

You see, based on our estimated conception date, the doctor thinks it is likely to be a boy. (There is a scientific explanation behind that which I am very bad at explaining). Of course, we would't mind a girl too.. so cute! Two girls two years apart.

So, everybody, please help pray that this is a smooth pregnancy and that we get to see little healthy Ryan (or Ryanne.. haha if a girl)next June 1st!
